Charles W. Best (1857- ) M.B.E., M.Inst.C.E.

1857 Born the son of Stephen Charles Best

1939 Private address: Penbryn, Brecon. Age: 81.

Career: Indentured to his father who was a M.I.C.E.; subsequently trained as an assistant to three different civil engineers in private practice.

1901-1922, County Surveyor for Breconshire; previously in private practice as a Consulting Engineer specialising in Sanitation and Water Supply. Early training on Railway Construction and Water works, &c. Now retired. (1939)
