1851 Living at Prestwick Street, Portsea: Charles Mintram (age 27 born Ealing, Hants), Boiler Maker. With his wife Mary Mintram (age 24 born Southampton) and their four children; Mary Jane Mintram (age 6 born Southampton); Chas A. Mintram (age 4 born Southampton); Sarah F. Mintram (age 2 born Candport, Portsea); and George Hy Mintram (age 5 months born Candport, Portsea).[1]

1861 His daughter Mary Jane marries his later business partner Thomas Kember Wilkes
