Charles Herbert Grinling (1870-1906), author and of the GNR

1870 February. Born in London the son of William Grinling and his wife Margaret Bishop

1887-92 Worked for the GNR and then left top become an author and journalist

1898 Published "The History of the Great Northern railway 1845-1895"

1901 April 16th. Married Hilda Woodman Whiteman

1906 April 11th. Died. The Times published an obituary.
