Career: Southampton Marine Coll. and Devonport Tech. Coll.; Service career; H.M.S. "Warspite" at Jutland; H.M.S. "Calliope"; Designer and Patentee of numerous inventions, including oil-fuel tank valve (used extensively in H.M. ships), water gauges, turbine governor remote Indicator, boiler stoker, etc., etc.
