CHARLES HART died at Leamington on the 31st October, 1912, aged 75.

He obtained his early training on the London, Chatham and Dover Railway, and later joined the staff of Peto and Co, Contractors.

Mr. Hart afterwards went to Ireland, where, as a contractor on his own account, he constructed a number of railway lines. He was a Director and Vice-chairman for many years of the Leamington Priors Gas Co.

Mr. Hart was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 2nd February, 1869.
