Charles Alexander Stevenson

c.1856 Born Edinburgh, son of David Stevenson (b.1815) and his wife Elizabeth[1]

1881 Apprentice civil engineer[2]

1886 Became a member of the firm of David and Thomas Stevenson and subsequently D. and C. Stevenson

1936 The firm was reformed as A. and C. Stevenson

1940 Charles Stevenson retired, after which (David) Alan Stevenson continued to act solely as the Trust's engineer.

1950 Died at home in Edinburgh[3]
