1883 registered to take over the existing firm of meter makers and electrical engineers; Arthur Chamberlain and George Hookham as directors[1].

1898 The company was registered on 15 December, to acquire the business of manufacturers of electricity meters, dynamos etc of a company of the same name. [2]

1918 GEC acquired the ordinary shares in the company[3].

1927 Recorded as being a subsidiary of GEC
