1888 Opened by Samuel Firth of Gatehead, Marsden and owned by him.

Eventually owned by Fisher, Firth and Co.

1981 Became Cellars Clough Woollen Mills Ltd. managed by Firth's son.

1982 The mill is now closed and derelict.
