Suit on display at the Musée des Arts et Métiers

Alphonse and Theodore Carmagnolle of Marseilles, France, built the Atmospheric Diving Suit, ADS (seen in 1882 image). It was a failure, due to leakage at the joints.

Exhibited in the 1946 Palais de Chaillot Exhibition.

It is currently (March 2019) on display at the Musée des Arts et Métiers during refurbishment of the musee national de la Marine at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris.
