c.1870 Workshops built at Sudbrook for T. A. Walker for the construction of the Severn Tunnel.
1886 Converted into a shipyard
1889 After his death, Thomas Andrew Walker's contracts were continued by his Executors and subsequently by the formation of C. H. Walker & Co Ltd. by Thomas's nephew Charles.[1]
1898 Limited company incorporated
1902 C. H. Walker and Co formed
WWI The yard produced mercantile vessels during the First World War.
1922 The shipyard closed.
Docks contract in Buenos Aires Nuevo Puerto, Tilbury, Rio de Janiero port and Bermuda dockyard works.[2]
c.1948 Company wound up.[3]
