Career:
- Education Felsted School.
- Kings College, London.
- Took part in construction of the Barking Cable Tunnel under the Thames between Barking and Woolwich, the Rochester and Chatham sewerage Contracts, and designing for various large buildings in London, including The Royal Liver Insurance Society Building, and School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
- Went to Mexico as Construction Engineer for Mexican Eagle Oil Co.
- 1930 Returned to England and became Resident Engineer of Mersey Tunnel and Resident Engineer-in-Charge from 1933-36; cost of works £6,500,000.
1937 Engineer-in-Charge of Royal Ordnance Factory, Chorley. Has controlled over £5,000,000 worth of civil engineering works.
Author of "History of Construction of Mersey Tunnel" (not yet published), "Achievement," Chapter on the "Mersey Tunnel", "Careers", Chapter on "Engineering".
