1876 came under the full control of Mr. W. N. Brunton.
1888 Began to manufacture rope wire
1890 Started to manufacture of wire ropes for all purposes.
1892 Drew 2.5 per cent nickel alloy steel into wire for the first time drawn.
1913 Bruntons first commercially produced stainless steel wire.
1931 Acquired George Elliot and Co not later than February 1931[1]
1937 Wire and wire rope manufacturers.[2]
1937 Supplier of Tru-Lay Ropes[3]

1939 John Dixon Brunton was managing director.
1960 Mining wire ropes. "Beacon" Tru-Lay Wire Ropes and Tru-Loc Fittings.[4]
