1950 Company incorporated.

1951 Brown Bayley Steels Ltd was nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[1]

1955 Brown Bayley's Steel Works agreed to purchase from the Holding and Realization Agency the whole of the share capital of Brown Bayley Steels Ltd; afterwards, the company's shareholders would be offered the chance to buy shares in Brown Bayley Steels Ltd[2].
