Important SALE of Valuable MACHINERY, STEAM- ENGINES, &c., ETNA FOUNDRY, LIVERPOOL.
MESSRS. THOS. WINSTANLEY and SONS beg to announce, that they have received instructions from the Assignees of Messrs. Brocklehurst, Dircks, and Nelson, to SELL by AUCTION, on TUESDAY, the 2d, WEDNESDAY, the 3d, THURSDAY, the 4th, and FRIDAY, the 5th November next, at Eleven o'clock precisely each day, on the Premises, the Etna Foundry, Vulcan-street,
The valuable MACHINERY, a 16-Horse Power High Pressure Steam-engine, by Naysmith and Gaskell, a 10-Horse Power Ditto, capital Slide Lathe, Boring Ditto, Boring and Turning Ditto, Single Lathes, a complete Range of Machinery for Cutting Stone, Screwing Machine, Vertical Drilling Machine, Planing Ditto, Two powerful Wood Cranes, Hooping Furnace, Cupolas, a quantity of Railway Wheels, Stock-in-Trade, Working Implements ' and Utensils, of this extensive Establishment, recently fitted up at a considerable outlay, with Machinery on the most improved construction.
The TURNING and FITTING-UP SHOPS contain the costly Slide Screw Lathe, Boring Lathe, Boring and Turning Ditto, Single Ditto, Screwing Machine, Vertical Drilling Ditto and Planing Machine, Two 10-inch Backgeared Lathes, 8-inch Single Ditto, Circular Saw and Vertical Ditto, a great variety of Steel Turning, Boring, and other Tools, large Vices, Grindstones, quantity of Wrought and Cast Iron Work for Planing Machines, and for a Tyre Bending Machine, &c.
In the FOUNDRY, two large Wood Cranes, and Gearing, a great variety of Moulding Boxes, Loam Rings, Core Barrels, Plates, and Boxes, a large Fly Wheel. Loam Furnace, and Three Loam Carriages, about Twenty-six Tons of Pig Iron, Two Cupolas, with Stage and Brick-work ; Three Brass Furnaces and Moulding Boxes, Anvils, and Smiths' Steel and Steeled Tools, Bellows, Twelve Smiths' Fireplaces, Three Wrought-Iron Cranes, &c., &c.
In the YARDS and SHEDS will be found Railway Wheels of various diameters and tyres, Bowling and Low Moor Ditto, in an unfinished state, Railway Axles, quantity of Tyres, scarfed and bent, Forged Axles, Grease Boxes, Railway Chairs, Cast Foundation Plate and Columns for an Engine, Scrap Iron and Steel, Grinding Machine, Crab Winch ; Seven Sugar Pans, a great quantity of unfinished Castings, Bar Iron for Wheels, Scale Beam on Iron Standard, Hooping Furnace, the 16-horse power High-pressure Steam-Engine, Fanner, &c.

Brocklehurst, Dircks, and Nelson, the MACHINERY, a powerful Self-acting Lathe for turning Eight feet Wheels, a Double-power Screwing Machine, Thirteen Railway Waggons, a great variety of Waggon Work and Fittings , Three-feet Railway Wheels, a quantity of best Staffordshire Iron, in Bars, Low Moor Ditto, Spring Steel, Brass Castings, Anvils, Vices, Smiths' Tools , &c.
The Waggon-work consists of a great quantity of Waggon and Draw Springs, Bars of Spring Steel, Oil Boxes, Brass Steps, Friction Plates, Bolts and Nuts, Iron Fittings, Corner Plates, Break Levers, Panelled Sides and Ends, Diagonal Stays, Frames, Rails for Sides and Ends, Oak and Ash Timber, Waggon-makers' Benches, &c.
