British Window Glass Co, of Queenborough

pre WWI: window glass was almost all imported from the Continent

c.1919 Company formed to acquire British rights to Founcault's process for making sheet glass. Acquired site at Queenborough for factory. Queenborough Bottle Glass Works had been operating nearby for 12 years.
