1947 Company formed[1]

1948 Converted to public company[2] to acquire A. Kershaw and Sons Ltd and its subsidiary companies, British Acoustic Films Ltd, Taylor, Taylor and Hobson Ltd, Kalee Ltd and Gaumont-Kalee Seating Ltd.

1955 Extensive research and development programme underway. Subsidiary company G. B. Equipments Ltd had started distributing Dictorel dictating equipment[3].

1956 Name changed to Rank Precision Industries[4]
