1902 Company established and incorporated as a limited company.

1904 British Northrop Loom Co formed. On behalf of Ashton Brothers Ltd, Henry Philips Greg visited USA and arranged for 500 automatic looms to be imported. As a result the British Northrop Loom Co was established, and Greg became its chairman[1].

1914 Loom manufacturers. Speciality: Northrop automatic looms. [2]

1958 Name changed - the Northrop Group

1958 As a diversification, Northrop Group acquired Chaseside Engineering Co, the original manufacturers of loading shovels in Europe[3]

1961 Manufacturers of automatic looms and earth moving equipment.
