1947 De La Rue Plastics changed its name to British Moulded Plastics Ltd.[1], part of National Plastics

1954 British Moulded Plastics produced a battery case using Bakelite resin for the Bristol Aeroplane Co: Britannia to house Varley Dry Accumulators Ltd.[2]

1959 National Plastics was acquired by Courtaulds[3].
