1947 One of the companies within the J. Arthur Rank Organisation which were involved in scientific research[1]; areas of development included 35mm and 16mm sound recording and reproduction equipment, 16 mm silent cameras and projectors, 8mm cameras and projectors. Sales organisation for 35 mm equipment: G. B.-Kalee Ltd; sales of 8 and 16mm equipment G. B. Equipments Ltd.

1948 Acquired by British Optical and Precision Engineers also part of the J. Arthur Rank Organisation.
