1970 Three private investors put money into Brent Manufacturing Co and gained seats on the board[1]. As a result they were able to reverse their small chemicals company into the listed Brent Manufacturing, becoming Brent Chemicals International[2]


1982 Brent Chemicals International acquired Reddish Chemicals and Reddish Detergents[3]
