1961 Subsidiary of Brent Manufacturing Co when a minority of its shares were made available to the public. Maker of paint strippers, cleaning fluids and flaw-detecting compound sold under the Ardrox name[1]

By 1982 Brent Chemicals International was based in Buckinghamshire; acquired Reddish Chemicals and Reddish Detergents[2]
