21 Pall Mall (off Market Street) was an address shared with a number of other businesses, and was no doubt an office. Reference to the 1850 directory, and to the 1848 O.S. map[1] indicates that the premises in this street were, or had been, large terraced houses. Presumably the area had moved downmarket by 1850 if it was now home to a brass foundry. No. 48 was at the eastern end of Sidney Street.
