1883 The Blackman Ventilating Co was formed.

1890 The company was registered on 10 July, as the Blackman Ventilating Co. [1]

1891 Ventilation systems. [2]

1894 June. Royal Agricultural Society's Show. Several fans, some driven by the 'Trusty' engine. [3]

1900 Amalgamated with the business of James Keith, heating engineer of London and Arbroath, under the title James Keith and Blackman Co.
