c1867 Born in Liverpool the son of George Oxford, a Clerk, and his wife Mary A.

1890 May 8th. Married at Edge Hill, to Ada Jane Braithwaite

1911 Living at 56 Carstairs Rd, Fairfield, Liverpool: Benjamin George Oxford (age 44 born Liverpool), Ship Engineer Surveyor - Lloyd's Register of Shipping. With his wife Ada Jane Oxford (age 42 born Liverpool) and their children Elsie Oxford (age 18 born Maryhill, Lanark.); Arthur Wilfrid Oxford (age 15 born Maryhill, Lanark.); Gilbert Braithwaite Oxford (age 11 born Grimsby); and Ada Evelyn Oxford (age 8 born Grimsby).[1]
