1896 The Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co Ltd was registered on 6 May, and took over the licences for manufacturing various cycle components which had been granted to the Stafford Manufacturing Co Ltd, Barton and Loudon, and the Westwood Manufacturing Co. [3] [4]
