1897 Owned Sundon Cement Works, Dunstable.

1900 The company was registered on 25 May, to acquire the lime, cement and brick works of the firm of the same name. [1]

1911 The Lime and Cement Businesses were sold to the British Portland Cement Manufacturers

1914 Directors: Halley Stewart, J.P. (Chairman), Percy Malcolm Stewart, J.P. (Managing Director), and Benjamin Christmas Forder, J.P.

1923 Acquired the London Brick Co to form The London Brick Company and Forders.[2]
