1934 Arthur Collins Esq. puts the Fishponds factory, equipment and stock up for auction, including Guy and Bean goods vehicles.[5] Factory purchased by Charles Newth and Sons Ltd.[6]

1935 Avondale Jam Company Ltd. dissolved.[7]

1949 Factory closed due to sugar shortage.[8]
