The Hon. ARTHUR WYNDHAM HOLMES a COURT, sixth son of the second Baron Heytesbury, was born at Westover, Isle of Wight, on the 7th May, 1848, and died at Cedar Valley, Antigua, on the 2nd October, 1915.

Trained under the late Sir Joseph Bazalgette, Past-President, he was appointed Surveyor of Public Works, Antigua, in 1872, retaining this post until 1903, when he was appointed Caretaker of HM. Dockyard, Antigua. He also carried on practice as a Surveyor.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 2nd December, 1873.
