Born Birmingham, 29th April, 1891.

Educated at King Edward's School, Five Ways, B'ham.

Entered Motor Industry on Cost and Production in 1915.

Has been Managing Director since 1920 and Chairman and Managing Director since 1949.

1953 Is Midlands Chairman of Engineering Industries Association
