Arthur Graham Forster (1878-1932) of NLG

1878 Born the son of George Graham Forster, a Dentist Surgeon.

1911 Living at 26 Aubert Park, Highbury, London: George Graham Forster (age 66 born Durham), Doctor Surgeon. With his three sons; Arthur Graham Forster (age 32 born Durham), Manager LG Works; Joseph Forster (age 30 born Durham), NLG Motor Works; and Frank Wilson Forster (age 27 born London), Insurance clerk.[1]

Arthur Graham Forster was born in 1878 and received his technical education at the City and Guilds Technical College, Finsbury.

He obtained his shop experience with the firm of Zwannenburg and Co and N. and C. H. Nicholas.

From 1905 onwards he was associated with the North London Garage, first as proprietor and manager, and later when the concern was formed into a Limited Company he became Managing Director.

He also practised for many years as an Insurance Assessing Engineer.

He died in June, 1932, at the age of 53.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1927.
