1874 Born in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, son of Sir Arthur John Dorman and his wife Clara Sharo[1] at Stockton-On-Tees, brother of Bedford L. Dorman and Arthur J. Dorman

1891 Arthur C Dorman 16, George L Dorman 10, Arthur J. Dorman 9, Robert P Dorman 35, iron manufacturer, Annabella F Dorman 40, were living at Rushford/Rushpool Hall, Skelton, Yorks[2]

1892 Admitted to Trinity, Cambridge

1895 Graduated B.A., M.A. 1903.

Entered the iron and steel trade.

1901 Arthur C Dorman 24, steel manufacturer, employer, was boarding in Stokesley; another boarder there was Arthur J. Dorman 19[3]

1911 Director of iron and steel works, lived in Stokesley with Audrey Marguerite Dorman 27[4]

1918 High Sheriff.

1929 Died Feb. 28, 1929.
