formerly Arrol Brothers

Limited company established by James Cameron Arrol and Thomas Arthur Arrol

1892 New Joint Stock Company in Scotland. 'Arrol's Bridge and Roof Company, Limited, to carry on Germiston Iron works Glasgow, and business of bridge roof builders, firm being formerly Arrol Brothers, capital £300,000 in £5 shares;'[1]

Important contracts included the Widnes and Runcorn Transporter Bridge, the Railway Bridge at Connel Ferry and the great wheels at the White City, Blackpool and Vienna.

1906 Acquired by A. and J. Main and Co
