1958 Baker, Perkins purchased Steele and Cowlishaw .

1961 Motor engineers, distributors for the Nuffield Organization, Jaguar, Armstrong Siddeley, Daimler and Lanchester cars. Coachbuilders. Agricultural engineers. 900 employees. [1]
