1857 Company founded.
1900 Appointed Mr John S. Barr of 16 and 18, Broad Chare, Newcastle-on-Tyne, as their sole agent for the Tyne and Tees.[1]
1936 Became public company.
1937 Founders and engineers. "Anti-Attrition" Bronzes and White Bronzes. [2]
1947 Merged with Brecknell, Willis and Co.
1957 A large majority of the shares were acquired by Beyer, Peacock and Co including the subsidiary Brecknell, Willis[3]
1961 Manufacturers of anti-friction bearings, bronze, white metal and aluminium castings, machined bronze components, chill and spun cast iron stick, continuous cast bronze stick. 400 employees. [4]
1962 Moved from Maidenhead to Manchester, using space available in Beyer Peacock's Manchester factory[5]
1963 Production had been reduced[6]
1979 Removed from the register of companies
