Albert Russell van Cortlandt Warrington (1901-1983), electrical engineer of the English Electric Co
1901 September 17th. Born in Eastbourne (and baptised in Moulmein, Bengal, India) the son of Albert Francis Grosvenor Warrington (1874-1957), an officer in the Mercantile marine, and his wife Alice Bessie.
1911 Living at Javoy, Lumsden Avenue, Southampton: Alice Rossie Warrington (age 38 born Basingstoke). With her three children; Albert R. V. C. Warrington (age 9 born Eastbourne); Alice A. E. Warrington (age 7 born Buxted); and Audrey Joan Warrington (age 1 born Southampton).[1]
1922 Arrived in New York
1942 Resident in Wallingford, Delaware, Penn., USA.[2]
1954 Became a naturalised British subject. Resident in Stafford.[3]
1959 Arrived in Rio de Janeiro
1962 Published 'Protective Relays Their Theory and Practice'. Later reprints also.
1983 October 30th. Died in Bexhill.
