ALBERT EDWARD BEARD died on November 10, 1906, at his residence in Wolverhampton, after a protracted illness.
He was born in 1867, and received his training in the sheet-rolling mills of Messrs. Smith & M'Lean, at Gartcosh, near Glasgow.
He subsequently filled responsible positions in connection with the management of the sheet mills of Messrs. John Lysaght, Limited, Wolverhampton.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1895.
