1864 February 2nd. Born in Hackney the son of Albert John Hills, a Commercial Traveller.

1906 Established his own garage to distribute Martini cars - see Hills-Martini

With his wife Lillian Julia Emma Hills (age 42 born Lewes) and their four children; Gladys Osmond Hills (age 14 born Birmingham); Bence Arthur Charles Hills (age 9 born Birmingham); Vera Lillian Hills (age 8 born Birmingham); and Nevell Morris Hills (age 4 born Blackheath). One servant.[1]
