1828 Angier March Perkins, son of Jacob Perkins, launched his own business which took some of his father's ideas for heating and turned them into a commercial system.
1829 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Angier March Perkins, James Philip Roy, and Arthur Thomas Malkin, at Francis-Street, Gray's-Inn-Road, in the County of Middlesex, Civil-Engineers, under the firm of A. M. Perkins and Company, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, as far as relates to the said James Philip Roy...'[1]
