1865 North Yorkshire Iron Works established by Richardson Johnson and Co[1].

1876 Ownership passed to A. Bainbridge[2].

1878 Company established.

1909 Incorporated as a private limited company.

1914 Iron, steel, coal and machinery merchants. Specialities: dismantling, shipbreaking, dealing in machinery. Employees 40 to 50. [3]

1960 Amalgamated with Thomas, Thomas and Co of Middlesbrough, forming Thomas, Thomas, Bainbridge and Co.
