Detailed report.[1]

The T.T. race was held for the final time on the St John's Course: 83 machines entered, half of them twins. The T.T. was becoming a competitive battle between the motorcycle makers.

A. E. Woodman crashes in practice and has a leg amputated.

The capacity of the twin-cylinder engines was reduced to 670cc but, despite this, the record lap speed increased.
