1899 November. 'The Yorkshire Motor Car Manufacturing Company (Limited) has been formed to acquire and extend the two established businesses of the Yorkshire Motor Car Co, (Limited), Bradford, and Messrs. Brown & Buckton, motor and cycle engineers, Halifax and Hipperholme. The former business was established over two years ago experiment and develop the motor car industry.'[1]
