1910 Woodheads' took over Albert Ward, Tower Brewery, Ashenden Road, Hackney

1915 Registered as Edmund Woodhead and Sons Ltd

1936 re-registered as Woodhead's Canonbury Brewery Ltd

1944 Acquired the South London Brewery Ltd, 134 Southwark Bridge Road (which had been founded in 1760 and was registered in April 1937 as Jenner's Brewery Ltd. The name was changed in 1939.)

1946 Registered as Woodhead's

1949 All brewing was transferred to Southwark Bridge Road.

1965 Acquired by Charrington United Breweries
