1834 Newton Heath Brewery founded by John Collinson and George Simpson.[1]
1865 Acquired by Henry Charles Wilson and Thomas Philpot.[1]
1894 Henry Charles Wilson and Company Limited was registered, with capital of £200,000, to take over as a going concern the business of brewers, carried on at the Newton Heath Brewery, Manchester and elsewhere under the style or firm of Henry Charles Wilson and Co.[2]
1949 Merged with Walker and Homfrays.[1]
1960 Acquired by Watney Mann.[1]
1987 Ceased brewing.[1]
