1882 Partnership change. '...the Partnership formerly subsisting between William Widdows and Charles Widdows, as Cotton Spinners, at the Canal Mills, Chorley, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of W. and C. Widdows, was dissolved, on the 2nd day of July, 1877, by the death of the said William Widdows.— Dated this 22nd day of February, 1882. Mary Widdows, Margaret Widdows, Surviving Executors of the said William Widdows, deceased. Charles Widdows.'[1]
