By 1870 W. Warne and Co had presumably changed its name to William Warne and Co
1885 W. Warne and Co received a gold medal for invention in respect of India rubber
1891 Advert. 
1895 The company was registered on 25 January, to acquire the business of indiarubber manufacturers of the firm of the same name. 
1907 The company purchased land in Barking and built a new factory there - India Rubber Mills - which became the new headquarters.
During the Second World War the India Rubber Mills escaped serious damage from enemy bombing.
2002 The Barking premises was closed.
