1886 Born in Plumstead, son of Mark Roadster Bullimore and his wife, Margaret

His father (who had been a Whitworth scholar) was sent to Australia to install the first trams for the City of Adelaide[1]

1890 His father was an electrician; he died in Australia[2]

1901 John Sinclair 30, lived in Edmonton, with Margaret Sinclair 31, stepson William Bullimore 14, Rita Sinclair 2, John R Sinclair 11[3]

1907 student member of Inst Elec Engineers

Joined the X-ray tube maker A. C. Cossor Ltd

1911 A scientific instrument maker, employer, living with his step parents in Stamford Hill[4]

1920s Inventor of the first Cossor radio valves. Gained various patents on thermionic valves

1925 Freedom of the City of London

1937 Died in Whetstone
