With his wife Margaret Peters (age 47 born Liskeard) and their two sons John Peters (age 16 born Exeter), Cabinet Maker Apprentice, and William Peters (age 13 born Exeter). Also their daughter Eliza and his FIL Richard Stephens,[1]

1881 Living at Palace Gate, Exeter: William Peters (age 43 born Exeter), Merchant. With his wife Emily and their daughter.[2]

1888/89 Mayor of Exeter.[3]

1891 Living at 2 Palace Gate, Exeter: William Peters (age 53 born Exeter), Wholesale Grocer. With his wife Emily, four daughters and two sons.[4]

1896 September 09th. Died, of Palace Gate, Exeter.
