1938 Died. 'The funeral will take place at Honley Church Burial Ground, to-day, of Mr. William Marsden. Whinfield House, New Hey Road, Huddersfield, who died suddenly on Wednesday. He was 56. For some years Mr. Marsden had been manager the worsted manufacturing firm of Broadhead and Graves, Ltd., Kirkheaton Mills. Before Joining Messrs. Broadhead and Graves he was a partner in the now defunct firm of Messrs Thornton, Marsden and Co., worsted manufacturers, Park Valley Mills, Mr Marsden was a prominent Freemason and was a founder and Past Master of the Brook Lodge. He leaves a widow and daughter.'[1]
