1851 Living at 19 Chorley New Road, Little Bolton: John Haslam (age 33 born Bolton), Master Cotton Manufacturer. With his wife Jane Haslam (age 34 born Bolton) and their six children; Ellen M. Haslam (age 7 born Little Bolton); William Haslam (age 6 born Little Bolton); Joseph C. Haslam (age 5 born Little Bolton); John P. Haslam (age 3 born Little Bolton); Anne Jane Haslam (age 2 born Little Bolton); and Mary C. Haslam (age 11 months born Little Bolton). Three servants.[1]
