1912 Obituary [1]

WILLIAM GOOD, born at Bandon, CO. Cork, in 1847, died at Lisnalee, Ballintemple, in that county, on the 7th December, 1911.

After passing through Queen’s College, Cork, he joined the Indian Public Works Department in 1869, and was engaged on irrigation and other works in the North-West Provinces until 1897, when he retired. Among his more notable works was the construction of the new Nadrai Aqueduct across the Ganges Canal.

Mr. Good was elected a Member of The Institution on the 2nd February, 1886.
